Emelin Theatre: Mingus Big Band
Mingus Big Band is one of the most celebrated large jazz ensembles in the world. The band has released twelve recordings, earned seven Grammy nominations, and won the GRAMMY Award for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album in 2011 for Live at Jazz Standard. Their recent projects include The Charles Mingus Centennial Sessions, released in 2022 and nominated for a GRAMMY, followed by Volume II in 2024 on Candid Records
