Jacob Burns Film Center Jewish Film Festival: A Thre Course Meal… Three Food Films

A cinematic feast about the joys and importance of food, this program includes the film equivalent of an appetizer, a beverage, and an entree. Including Orna and Ella, a documentary of a Tel Aviv restaurant; Double Happiness, about the Jewish tradition of  eating at Chinese restaurants on Christmas; and Egg Cream, a celebration of the enduring fountain treat–one of the few affordable pleasures available to tenement dwellers in the early 20th century.
