Tarrytown Music Hall: Limón Dance Company

Founded in 1946 by José Limón and Doris Humphrey, the Limón Dance Company has been at the vanguard of American Modern dance since its inception and is considered one of the world’s greatest dance companies.

Here they perform a reimagining of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth, a work inspired by Bach’s intricate compositions, and a composition that distills Othello’s tragic tale into elegant Renaissance-inspired dances set to Purcell’s music.
