Jacob Burns Film Center: Frederick Wiseman’s America
From April 8 to May 3, the Jacob Burns Film Center will present 24 screenings of 12 Frederick Wiseman documentaries about American life filmed from 1968 to 2018. Wiseman’s documentaries reflect his interests in the common man from the lobstermen and tug boat operators in Belfast, Maine; to the way things work in Canal Zone about the canal pilots and government agencies that run the Panama Canal.
