Planetarium Shows – Hudson River Museum Planetarium: In One World, One Sky: Big Birds Adventure, produced by Sesame Workshop and the Liberty Science Center, Big Bird, Elmo and Hu Hu Zhu discover the planets, the Big Dipper, the North Star, the sun and the moon. Barenstain Bears Live – Tarrytown Music Hall: Come on down to Bear Country where Brother Bear, Sister Bear, Papa Bear, and Mama Bear sing and dance in this new musical adapted from the classic children’s book series by Stan and Jan Berenstain. The Intergalactic Nemesis – a live-action graphic novel – Performing Arts Center: In this family-friendly performance, three actors voice dozens of characters, a Foley sound artist creates the audio effects, and a pianist plays a cinematic score, while projections of more than 1,250 individual full-color hi-res comic book panels tell a hilarious sci-fi adventure story. You Can’t Take it With You – Horace Greeley High School Winter Play: The HGHS players present the Pulitzer Prize-winning 1936 romantic comedy about a slightly batty New York City family from George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart for their winter play. In 1938 the play was adapted for the screen starring Jean Arthur, Lionel Barrymore, James Stewart and Edward Arnold. Spirit of Michael Jackson – Ridgefield Playhouse: This show from Laser Spectacular is a multi-media tribute to the King of Pop’s life and legacy.
