Where to hear Music: August: Still plenty of summer music ahead starting with an intimate performance from Suzanne Vega at Caramoor’s Spanish Courtyard. Duran Duran is back with a new album they’ll perform (along with their big hits) at The Capitol Theatre. Suzanne Vega: Vega’s knack for crafting a catchy riff have earned her a spot in the folk-pop canon with songs such as “Tom’s Diner” and “Luka”. Duran Duran: Multi-platinum superstars Duran Duran tour to support their new studio album of hard-edged pop Paper Gods that will be released on September 18th. Singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor, and drummer Roger Taylor recorded the album in London. It features special guests Janelle Monáe (on the first single “Pressure Off”), former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, Canadian Juno-Award winning singer Kiesza, British singer/songwriter Mr Hudson and violinist Davidé Rossi. Jefferson Starship & Jazz is Dead: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Jefferson Airplane founder Paul Kantner, David Freiberg, Grammy nominated singer Cathy Richardson along with Tom Constanten and other special guests, perform the music of Jefferson Airplane from some of their most legendary shows such as Monterey, Woodstock, Altamont and more! Norm Hathaway Swing Band – Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden: Norm Hathaway plays it like it was at this annual dancing and music event at the Hammond Museum.
