WPPAC Reopens with Masquerade, Sideshow & more
The White Plains Performing Arts Center will reopen on October 8 with the New York premiere of Masquerade, a musical celebration of the life and works of Andrew Lloyd Webber. From his quirky family and Bohemian youth to his smash hit Broadway musicals Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard. Their main stage theatrical productions include a fifteen night run of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. And the long awaited Side Show from Bill Russell and Henry Krieger, the composer of Dreamgirls and writer of Chicago.
Their season also features special events with internet sensation comedian Lisa Marie, Tony-winner Lillias White, Lorna Luft and the return of our area’s favorite Halloween for adults event Broadway Fright Night. Featuring songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Young Frankenstein, Sweeney Todd, The Rocky Horror Show, The Addams Family, Jekyll and Hyde, Carrie, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.
